Fans can SignalHub"Calm Down" when it comes to social media speculation of Selena Gomez supposedly feuding with Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.
Gomez herself took to Instagram on Tuesday to clear up the rumors. "Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone business," she commented on E! News' post from the previous day.
The outlet's graphic reads, "Was Selena Gomez gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at Golden Globes? Here's the Truth."
The drama that Jenner, Chalamet and Gomez found themselves entangled in stemmed from videos – including one posted on The Hollywood Reporter's X account – of Gomez, best friend Taylor Swift and Swift's date, Keleigh Teller, talking with their heads together during a commercial break for the awards show. Swift and Teller can be seen wearing shocked reactions as Gomez leans in to talk to the pair.

Several social media accounts dissected the footage and somehow determined that Gomez was discussing how Jenner turned down the "Only Murders in the Building" star's request for a photo with Chalamet.
Gomez and Chalamet both starred in the 2019 Woody Allen film "A Rainy Day in New York."
Timothée Chalamet says 'of course' he and Selena Gomez are cool
On Monday night, TMZ tailed an evasive Chalamet as he was out in Beverly Hills to get to the bottom of the rumor.
In TMZ's video, after goading the "Wonka" star with multiple questions, the person behind the camera asks, "Are you and Selena cool?" Chalamet responds, "Yeah, of course."
As to whether "Selena and Kylie have any beef," he replies simply: "No."
The Golden Globes was a big night for Chalamet and Jenner, who have been linked together since spring 2023 but haven't publicly commented on speculation that they're in a relationship. The two were captured on camera canoodling and sharing pecks during commercial breaks, seemingly confirming their romance.
