It's happening! The 2024 NFL schedule release is upon us.
As fans eagerly await all the matchups that will make or break their team's season, the league has announced select matchups that haven't disappointed so far, including Opening Night and Christmas Day showdowns, in addition to the entire 2024 NFL international schedule.
As we count down the 2024 NFL schedule release, we've compiled everything you need to know, from when it's going down to all of the matchups that have been released so far:

The 2024 NFL schedule release will take place Wednesday May 15 at 8 p.m. with a special program airing on NFL Network or streaming on Fubo.

What 2024 NFL games are scheduled so far?
A handful of matchups have been announced already.
The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will get tested right out of the gate with a Week 1 matchup against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens to kick off the season at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 5 (NBC, 8:20 p.m.). Week 1 is rounded out by a Dallas Cowboys-Cleveland Browns showdown in Cleveland on Sept. 8 (FOX, 4:25 p.m.) and the Green Bay Packers will head to the west coast for a "Monday Night Football" matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 9 (ESPN, 8:20 p.m.)
Week 2 will feature a "Thursday Night Football" matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins in Miami on Sept. 12 (Prime Video, 8:15 p.m.) and a showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 15 (CBS, 4:25 p.m).
2024 NFL Christmas Day showdowns set
All I want for Christmas is... a Netflix subscription? The NFL is heading to the streaming giant with a pair of Christmas Day games: Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Ravens vs. Houston Texans.

2024 NFL International schedule released
The NFL is heading overseas and will hold games in three different continents this season. There are five international games in the 2024-25 NFL season in Brazil, London and Germany:
Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Week 1, Sept. 6: Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles (8:15 p.m. ET, Peacock, Corinthians Arena)
London, England
- Week 5, Oct. 6: New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium)
- Week 6, Oct. 13: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium)
- Week 7, Oct. 20: New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network, Wembley Stadium )
Munich, Germany
- Week 10, Nov. 10: New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network, Allianz Arena)
