Factors that determined defensive ratings included the players on the rosters, years of game film analysis and stats. The offensive ratings were released earlier Thursday.
With the defensive rankings now out, players should have an idea of where their favorite teams will rank when the full ratings are revealed later this week. The rankings of the toughest places to play already stirred debate, so expect the team ratings to do the same.
